SBI donate 80 water purifiers to various schools in Dimapur

On account of the forthcoming children’s day celebration, State Bank of India (SBI) under its corporate social responsibility programme donated 80 water purifiers to various schools under Dimapur district.

David Kire, chief manager (lead bank) gave away the items to the school representatives at a function held at Greenwood School on November 9.

Kire said the programme was being simultaneously observed in all the districts of the state and overall 599 numbers of water purifiers have been distributed. 

He said the bank maintains a fund for doing good deeds and urged the staff to utilize the funds wisely for the people of the state especially the weaker sections of the society.
