Mokokchung district review meeting

Mokokchung district review meeting of all the programme officers, senior medical officers, medical officers, NRHM staffs and DAPCU staffs of the district was held at IDSP Hall, IMDH Mokokchung March 5. The chief medical officer (CMO) Mokokchung, Dr.S.S.Akaba Longchar, who chaired the meeting, delivered welcome address.
Deputy CMO Mokokchung Dr. Kibang highlighted about the coming NIDA meeting in Kohima and read out the names of doctors detailed to attend the meeting representing the district. He also announced the names of the new NIDA representatives of Mokokchung districts.
All the programme officers of the district presented the performance and activities of their respective programme. The meeting was graced by the participation of Dr. John joint director RCH, Dr.Kika deputy director NRHM and Athali JSY/JSSK coordinator from DHFW Kohima.
The joint director talked on RCH activities and enhances proper health care delivery system.
Deputy CMO gave a detailed powerpoint presentation of the performance in the district. He also stressed on improvement of delivery points in the health unit basing on poor performance with regard to conduct of delivery in the health units. Athali explained about the JSY/JSSK activities, its utilization and timely submission of reports and SOEs. At a brief discussion on poor performance of different health activities in the district, the main reason was found out to be absenteeism and keeping proxy workers. The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks from the CMO.
