1 held for robbery in Dmu

One person was arrested by Dimapur police January 2 for attacking and robbing two persons that morning near Nagarjan junction.
According to Dimapur police, the accused has been identified as Tivito Chishi (21), son of Nezheto Chishi of Phisamei village, Kiphire district and presently a resident of Thilixu village, Dimapur. The victims were on their way home when they were forcibly waylaid by two miscreants and robbed their belongings consisting of one Apple iPhone, one Samsung Wave mobile and cash amounting to Rs 7000. On receiving information, East police station personnel investigating the case spotted the accused at a Lounge near Nagarjan junction and took him into custody.
Police are on the hunt for the other accomplice who is absconding and evading arrest. A case has been registered with East police station.
