Alobo Naga & the Band begins tour

Alobo Naga and the Band, winner of best Indian Act 2012, MTV EMA Award 2012, kicked started its 2013 tour in style with a couple of new songs and more powerful performances than earlier.

The band played to a house full audience at NE’ TYM Hindu College Auditorium, Delhi University, where Sonam Sherpa, lead guitarist of Parikrama band, opened the show with his gospel band “Theophany”.

Alobo Naga and the band took on stage and sang 15 songs, mostly originals and some covers from Coldplay and Incubus.

The show ended on a high note with people requesting for more. The band also premiered their new single “All we have is now” which music video was on making.

It may be mentioned that NE’Tym is a cultural fest that celebrates the North East region of the country, a geographical entity blessed with rare and breath-taking beauty, exhibit the diverse cultural heritage of the region through various events and programmes, aimed at forging a sense of unity and shared belongingness amongst the students and people of the different states of this region as well as between this enchanting land with the rest of India.

Earlier on their way to Delhi, Alobo and the Band started their tour by playing at yet another house full audience at Asian Institute of Management and Technology’s SANSKRITI 2013 at GMCH Auditorium, Guwahati, while they would also be performing at Jamia Islamia University Delhi & Shillong and few more places.
