
DMI St. Joseph Global School (SJGS) Dimapur held its first Parents Teachers Association (PTA) inaugural meeting under the theme “Stepping towards the future” on Saturday at St. Joseph University Campus.
A press release from DMI SJGS stated that special speaker, correspondent of Mount Carmel Higher Secondary School, Dimapur, Rev. Fr. Johnson, encouraged the parents to work hard and place God first to be successful. Asserting that parents and teachers were the backbone of the institution, he asked the parents to join hands together with the teachers and management to impart quality education to children.
Rev. Fr. Johnson also called upon the parents and teachers to be role models for the student community.
The release stated that the meeting commenced with the prayer song followed by Bible reading and prayer which was followed by introduction of executive committee members by DMI SJGS, principal, Sr. Sahaya Rani while DMI SJGS vice president, Tolino presented the achievement of the school in a slide-show presentation.
