Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) vaccination was carried out at Kisetong Village October 30 last. The vaccination programme was initiated by district veterinary officer (DVO) Dr. Toluvi Ayemi and Dr. Tsilise Sangtam foot and mouth disease (FMD) in Mithuns.
Altogether 55 Mithuns were vaccinated during the programme. Meanwhile, Kisetong village council (KVC) has expressed gratitude to the department of veterinary and animal husbandry (V&AH) Kiphire, particularly to Dr. Toluvi Ayemi, and Dr. Tsilise Sangtam for conducting vaccination against foot and mouth disease (FMD) in Mithuns.
KVC also stated that such preventive measures taken by the department saved from heavy economy loss.
