Children from 15 Sangtam Baptist Churches from Kiphire district attended the 17th USBLA children festival at Longmatra town which concluded Sunday.
Earlier, the three-day festival got underway at Longmatra Baptist Lithro, Longmatra town with ADC SSA DMA T. Kirithong Sangtam ADC as the chief guest.
The chief guest acknowledged USBLA officials for taking up an innovative idea, which he said, would nurture the children in a Christian way of life.
While encouraging the children to attend Sunday school, Kirithong Sangtam said as Christians, Sunday school was a must for every child. He said children who went to Sunday school were humble and sincere in life. He further reminded the children to pray constantly in order to have a relationship with God.
