All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) 16th biennial conference would be held from October 2 to 5 at Phek town.
The programme is being hosted by Phek Government College Students’ Union, under the theme “Synthesizing Education and Culture”.
On October 2, Deo Nukhu, parliamentary secretary higher education and SCERT will grace the session as introductory guest.
On October 3, Neiphiu Rio, chief minister, will be the chief guest and Kuzholuzo Nienu, minister roads & bridges and parliamentary affairs will be the guest of honour at the inaugural session; while Prof. B.K. Konwar, vice chancellor, Nagaland University will grace the academic session and C. Khalong, director, higher education would be the resource person.
Debate Session would commence thereafter. On October 4, cultural session showcasing indigenous games, cultural dance and folk tune would be graced by K. Khekaho Assumi, MLA.
Election of new office bearers for the tenure 2013-2015 would also be held. Valedictory session would be graced by T.R. Zeliang, minister, planning & co-ordination, evaluation, geology & mining and the conference will conclude with a grand finale, collegiate night on October 5.
