Kohima district Level Media Certification and Monitoring Committee (MCMC) has been constituted to monitor both print and electronic media for suspected ‘paid news’ and examine complaints.
The committee members include Asangla Imti, ADC & ARO Kohima as chairman, and Asangla Imsong, DPRO Kohima, Kaimang Chang, programme executive, AIR, Kohima and Xavier Rutsa, correspondent, Times of India as members.
