
Japfüphiki Baptist Theological Fellowship (JBTF) conducted its 23rd biennial conference on May 4 and 5 at Jakhama Baptist Church under the theme “Testify His Word”.
A press release by JBTF stated that on the first day, the conference began with a paper presentation by director CRMT (ABCC), Saphrül Pucho on the topic “Church and Development”. Former president of the JBTF, Rokovilie Zashümo led the congregation to further discussion.
Bible study for the conference was led by pastor Mitelephe Baptist Church, Medosel Naleo, who is also the new JBTF president.
Khriekethozo Pucho and his friends from Kidima Baptist Fellowship, Kohima led the praise and worship sessions through contemporary songs and hymns.
In the evening session, youth coordinator NBCC, Khrievino Sahu spoke on the topic “Emotionalism and Spirituality”. During the second day, senior pastor Kigwema Baptist Church, Rev. Mekhale Yhoshü spoke on the topic “Supremacy of the Scripture.” He emphasized on the divine inspiration of the Bible and the indispensability of scripture for human existence. He also highlighted some standout features of scriptures.
Senior pastor Jakhama Baptist Church, Rev. Zapovil Sophie offered a dedication prayer for the new office bearers for the year 2019–21.
