Govt offices to start functioning

Nagaland civil secretariat and directorates in Kohima and Dimapur and all government offices in the districts would resume their functioning with skeletal staff starting April 13. In an office memo, chief secretary has directed concerned AHoD, HoD and heads of offices to work out detailed arrangements of the staff who would need to attend office on a roster system. Those not attending office on a particular day would have to be available on telephone and electronic means of communication at all times, it said. Further, adequate arrangements are to be made for ensuring adherence to all social/physical distancing and necessary health safety measures in the offices.
