
Agricultural Technology Management Agency (ATMA) Wokha in association with State Agricultural Management and Extension Training institute (SAMETI) Nagaland and National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) organised Skill training of Rural Youth (STRY) across the district.
A press release by ATMA Wokha stated that the six-day training was organised from September 20-25 and separate trainings on September 27 to October 2 and October 4-9 on the topics, “poultry rearing and management, organic production of vegetables and organic composting” at Longsa Village, Longsachung Village and High School Colony Wokha respectively.
The training was led by ATMA DPD Wokha, T Subenthung Yanthan who mentioned that the main object of training programme was to provide skill development, encourage the aspiring youth to learn from such skill-based training to rural youth and to promote employment and creation of skills.
The resource person for the training were SRF KVK Wokha, Dr. Zuchamo Tungoe, ATM, ATMA Wokha, Lothungbeni Murry and Agripreneur, Amos Odyuo.
