Voice Hunt season-IV Nepali Gospel Singing competition 2021 concludes

A one-day Nepali gospel singing competition Voice Hunt Season-IV organized by Nepali Baptist Church Chumoukedima Youth Ministry concluded on November 28 with 9 finalists performing at the competition. The event was held under the theme “Praise his name”, in aid of Church Mission Field which is an annual event with focus to inspire, enrich and motivate the Christian Gorkha youths under AGBCN both spiritually and musically.
The first prize of the Nepali gospel voice hunt season – IV was bagged by Alika Thapa of Gorkha Baptist Church Thahekhu; second prize by Rachel Sunam of Nepali Baptist Church Kohima; while third was bagged by Jacob Sundas of Nepali Baptist Church Chümoukedima.
The programme was graced by North Town Hr. Sec School principal, Bishnu Chetri who in his speech focused on how music plays an important role in the life of youth and encouraged each participant to glorify Lord with their God given talents. He also encouraged the youths to have dignity of labour.
The Voice Hunt included special performance from its judges Tshering Lama, vocalist of only Gorkha Gospel Band Nagaland ‘The Chronicles Band’.
