NHM employees begin pen-down stir

November 10, 2017 | by admin

Aggrieved employees under National Health Mission (NHM) Nagaland Friday began pen-down strike after it failed to receive any assurance from the state government to release their pending salaries.
Aggrieved NHM employees cautioned that state government’s failure to comply with its demands would lead to total cessation of work from November 17.
They said mission director NHM had sent a communiquĂ© requesting postponement of the strike, but no commitment was mentioned.
Therefore, the employees said they were left with no option but to begin the strike till the state government immediately releases the fund and also give written assurance on the same on or before November 17.
The aggrieved employees said their salary along with the increment, one time loyalty, arrears of 2016 and arrears from April 2017 were to be paid as approved in the ROP 2017-2018.
