Nagaland State Legal Services Authority (NLSA) members attended a national seminar of “law school based legal services clinics” held under the theme “role of legal services clinics in law schools in promoting access to justice” organised by National Legal Services Authority (NALSA) at Pravasi Bharatiya Kendra New Delhi on Sunday.
Two secretaries of NDLSA, JMFC and secretary, Mokokchung District Legal Services Authority, Phuleto Yeptho and chief judicial magistrate and secretary Mon District Legal Services Authority, Inalo Zhimomi attended the seminar.
According to a release by NDLSA, special address was delivered by Judge Supreme Court of India, Justice Dipak Misra and executive chairman NALSA and inaugural address by chief justice of India and patron-in-chief NALSA, Justice J.S. Khekar while functionality of legal aid clinics was addressed by vice-chancellor National Law University Delhi, Professor Ranbir Singh.
During the seminar, NALSA’s song “Akele nahi ho tum” and NALSA newsletter were also released.
Welcome address was delivered by NALSA, Alok Agarwal while vote of thanks was delivered by project officer NALSA, Puneet Sehgal.
