Excise (Mobile Squad) personnel in a tip off on May 10, recovered 1308 bottles of rum and 1884 bottles of whisky from the possession of Dinesh son of Bihari Singh resident of Lahorijan, Assam.
According to superintendent of excise (MS) Katoho Sumi, Dinesh was intercepted at Thakhekhu Block 5 road in a Tata Mobile and was booked under relevant section of NLTP Act 1989.
Katoho informed that the seized IMFL have been kepst in the Mobile Squad Malkhana for further disposal.
