Troops of 5 Assam Rifles on May 8 apprehended one alleged “over ground” worker of NSCN (K) identified as T Mughaka T Aye (25) from Old Natha, Zunheboto Town.
AR report claimed that the accused was involved in collection of illegal taxes and extortion and nine tax collection notes were recovered from his possession.
The accused along with recovered items were handed over to Zunheboto Police Station for further investigation, AR added.
