District Congress Committee (DCC), Mokokchung, executive meeting of all ACCC presidents with their official, district frontal chiefs and veteran leaders of Mokokchung has been convened on February 23 at 10 am at its office for which all concerned officials have been requested to attend the meeting.
DCC, Mokokchung in a separate release issued by its president, I. Nungkum Jamir and general secretary, I. Tia Longkumer, has expressed shocked over resignation of two Congress MLAs, Kejong Chang from Tuensang Sadar-II and Aloh Wangham from 41 Tizit under Mon District.
Terming the resignation as ‘cheap’, the release also added that receiving of Crore of rupees by the two MLAs was a sale of public mandate as it would not solve the Naga political problem for which the DCC, Mokokchung, has advised the concerned Assembly Constituency officers not to insist such leaders in political or social organization in future.
