The Naga Student’s Union Delhi (NSUD) has appealed the authority of the Nagaland University to declare the B.A. final year results and issue mark-sheets at the earliest.
The NSUD in a release stated some students who have appeared and cleared the entrance test for various courses in prestigious Universities for the admission in master’s degree are being denied admission due to non-issuance of original mark-sheets, which according to the Union have been a trend for some years now and that the consequence “always befall on aspiring students who wanted to pursue further studies”.
In this kind of situation, the Union said the candidate is rendered helpless in their individual capacity to appeal to the respective University and thus seek the help of the NSUD at the highest level.
NSUD who has been helping Naga students facing this problem over the years has requested the authority of the Nagaland University to “maintain its standard in the highest level” and to take immediate action without any further delay at the same time hoped it is not repeated in the future for the benefit of the students.
