A landslide occurred Friday night at Wokha-Merapani road near Yikhum village completely cutting of communication, affecting vehicular movement and commuters alike. According to sources, the landslide took place some 8 kilometers away from district headquarter Wokha and has affected commuters and transporters. Meanwhile, various student leaders have appealled to the concerned authority to clear the road at the earliest so as to allow vehicular movement along the Wokha-Merapani road, an important lifeline for the people of Wokha district.
