Deputy Commissioner, Phek, Anoop Khinchi with district horticulture officer, Phek, Dr. Moa walling visited the ongoing vegetable village project at Surhoba.
The project was adopted by the village in the year 2006 and is continuing with significant success. During the visit, DC interacted with vegetable cultivators and encouraged them by way of asking difficulties in marketing where the villagers proposed for marketing shed to facilitate marketing of the produce in the village as whole sale market. An official bulletin informed that DC has consented to source out to help the farmers.
