One NSCN (K) cadre was reportedly apprehended by troops of 46 Assam Rifles at Zunheboto track (3 Km East of Bn HQ, Phek) May 18 while individual was travelling from Kotisu Basti to Phek Town.
According to PRO, cadre identified “Sgt” Beduzo Venuh (21) of NSCN (K), son of Veposa Venuh, resident of Kotisu Basti (Phek Dist) was nabbed along with one 9 mm Pistol with Magazine and three live rounds.
The cadre was handed over to Police Station Phek, PRO stated.
