Two NSCN (K) cadres were reportedly apprehended by 31 Assam Rifles personnel from Phom Colony, Changtongya May 16 last.
IGAR (N)’s PRO stated that apprehended cadres have been identified as “Pvt” Lima Akhham (25), son of late Imlichungba and “Pvt” Takaitaba Ao (28), son of Nakxhi. Both are residents of Akhoia village, Mokokchung, PRO stated. Assam Rifles team recovered one Muzzle Loading Rifle (Country Made) and incriminating documents from the two cadres, who were handed over to Changtongya Police Station.
