Three-day annual sports meet of Nagaland College of Teacher Education (NCTE) Kohima got underway Wednesday at Indoor badminton stadium with Kevi Liegise, joint director SCERT as the chief guest.
Liegise in his address, urged the participants to give importance to sports as it keep one’s body mentally and physically strong.
He reminded the participants to be disciplined while taking part in sporting activities. Earlier, the inaugural programme was chaired by Sentirenla Ozukum, invocation prayer by by Alemla asst. Prof. NCTE.
Vengotso Khamo, general secretary welcomed the gathering followed by a special song by Chashulie Movi. Oath to the participants was administered by Zachamo secretary games and sports.
