A combined force of Dimapur police, IRB and Assam Rifles, conducted house-to-house search operations at LRC Colony, Dimapur, and Borolingri under Assam, Thursday morning to flush out underground activists from civilian populated areas. Additional SP Dimapur, VZ Angami told Nagaland Post that the search operations were conducted from 7 a.m. to 9.30 a.m. However, no arrest was made or arms recovered. Dimapur police gave prior information to their Assam counterpart before conducting raids in Borolingri, Angami said and added all houses were searched and even pedestrians were frisked.
