DMC distributes food items to inmates

the Dimapur Municipal Council on the occasion of 60th Republic Day celebration distributed food items to the inmates of sub jail Dimapur.
Convener planning and development, DMC I. Nungsang Jamir, accompanied by senior staff Ganesh Sharma and Hokato Assumi distributed food items to inmates in presence of the jail officials.
Delivering short speech on the occasion, I. Nungsang Jamir expressed hope that the inmates comprising of both female and male would live a reformed life after they complete their sentence.
Pointing out that the prison needed more basic facilities he appealed the government to provide more facilities to the prison.
