Asungba Sangtam on being awarded the prestigious Padma Shree which it said was a clear recognition by the country for his distinguished services rendered to the people. NPCC General Secretary (Admn.), Medokul Sophie, ex-MLA in a press release described Asungba as an outstanding leader who kept people’s welfare and problems as his basic priority.
