Indefinite closure of shops in Phek town

Trader’s union of Phek town concerned over extreme taxation and panic created by firing in public places by factions, called for indefinite closure of shops on Saturday.
The Phek town chamber of commerce and industries (PCCI) had submitted a memorandum to deputy commissioner, superintendent of police and town chairperson.
General secretary, Rakho S.Venuh, meanwhile, expressed gratitude to the authorities for be provided security by IR and DEF personnel for the safety of the public in Phek town.
Condemning the firing in public places and over taxation by the UG, PCCI urged all right thinking individuals and unions to extend support for a better atmosphere in Phek town.
