Sinai Ministry began its three day youth revival on the theme “Direction- which way are you heading” on Thursday evening at Imliyanger Memorial Centre (IMC) with speaker Alemsunep Jamir, Repairers of the Breach Ministry, Trivandrum sharing the message. The revival was attended by more than 250 young people along with some parents.
Alemsunep in his message called upon the youth to fear the Lord and not to be a ‘namesake’ Christian. While urging the youth to know the purpose of going to church, he emphasized, “ it is not about how many times you pray, it is not about how many times you go to the church…but it is about how much you fear the Lord”. He also asked the gathering not to only search for God during crisis in life but in success also. “God is the creator, we are the creatures; when the creature meets God then the creativity sets in” he stated.
Director, Sinai Ministry, Wabang Longchari, informed that the revival has been organised by their ministry with the purpose of giving the right direction for the youth who were frustrated and lost without any direction and purpose in their lives. He also informed about counseling available for the youth.
Earlier the exhortation and invocation was given by Toshi Longkumer, Youth Director, Dimapur Ao Baptist Arogo (DABA). Toshi in his speech exhorted the youth to be like the salt which gives flavour to every food. Later special presentations were given by Tali Angh and Sweet Home Girls Hostel.
