Dimapur Branch of Bharat Sevashram Sangha (BSS) in accordance with its tradition distributed clothes to people below poverty line on the eve of Shri Shri Durga Puja. New clothes were distributed to 1000 distressed people on Thursday. Swami Chinmayanandaji Maharaj, in-charge, BSS Dimapur, Monoj Bhattacharjee, Principal, L. C. Das, Headmaster of Pranab Vidyapith Hr. Sec. School, Dimapur and others performed the cloth distribution ceremony.
Swami Chinmayanandaji Maharaj conveyed his heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all the cloth merchants of Dimapur market, who donated clothes for the poor.
Along with the cloth distribution, an exhibition organized by students of PVHSS inaugurated by Swami Chinmayananda and Monoj Bhattacharjee.
