Police impounded 221 cases of Indian made foreign liquor (IMFL) from two vehicles, belonging to the police department, according to a delayed report. According to police sources, two police vehicles (bus and truck) were intercepted at Ghorapatti February 7 last at around 5 p.m. On frisking the vehicles, a consignment of 180 cases of IMFL was seized from bus (NL11-1549) and 41 cases from Ashok Leyland truck (NL11-1082). The bus driver identified as one Dosolie Angami and truck driver identified as Yangkimong Chang along with two others were booked under relevant sections of the law.Preliminary investigations revealed that consignments were meant for some private individuals based in Dimapur, police said.
