SAYO awareness campaign
KOHIMA: Southern Angami Youth Organization would be conducting an awareness campaign on climate change, resource conservation and bio-diversity on September 15 at St. Paul’s auditorium Phesama. The programme is being organized following Angami Youth Organization’s declaration “year of social networking”. Further, SAYO has invited all southern frontal bodies including SAPO, SAWO, SASA, SASU, SAGOK, SABT, Southern Angami GB’s Association and public leaders.
‘Work and earn’ drive deferred
KOHIMA: The ‘work and earn’ drive has been deferred to September 25 due to unavoidable circumstances. Khezhakeno Students’ Union has expressed regret for the inconvenience and requested all to cooperate.
Training for librarians
KOHIMA: Art and Culture department in collaboration with National Library Kolkata would be organizing a five day librarians training on computer application in public library services from September 21 at Kohima. The department has notified District Cultural Officers (DCO) to send ten trainees selected each from registered rural libraries under their respective jurisdictions. It further notified that DCO Tuensang would cover Kiphire, Longleng while DCO registering officer Dimapur will cover Peren district as well.
