Nagaland governor Nikhil Kumar, in the interest of the public service, on Monday ordered the transfer and posting of five Indian Administrative Service/Indian Forest Services (IAS/IFS) with immediate effect.
According to a government notification issued by state chief secretary Lalthara, principal secretary & home commissioner C.J. Ponraj has been transferred and posted as principal secretary, law & justice department.
Ponraj would be relieved of the charge of chief electoral officer (CEO) and would hold additional charge of personnel and administrative reforms (P & AR) department. Commissioner & secretary, law & justice, labour & employment department Jan-e-Alam, has been transferred and posted as home commissioner.
He has been relieved of the charge of labour and employment department. Commissioner & secretary personnel and administrative reforms department Amardeep S Bhatia has been transferred and posted as commissioner & secretary, forest & environment department.
Commissioner & secretary, land resources, soil & water conservation N. N. Zhasa has been relieved of the charge of land resources department. He would now hold the additional charge of labour & employment department.
Commissioner & secretary, forest & environment department L. Kire has been transferred and posted as commissioner & secretary, land resources department in addition to his charge of commissioner & secretary to chief minister.
