: Reacting to the news item “Challans on sale,” Senior Treasury Officer, Wokha R. N. Yanthan had clarified that though investigated the evidence could not be established against selling of Treasury Challans from Treasury Office, Wokha. The STO, however, admitted that there were sales of photo copies of Treasury Challans from some of the shops in public places. In this regard, the STO has warned of imposing stringent action against any staff found indulging in such nefarious activities like selling of Treasury Challans in any form either from office or any other places. The STO called upon the public for their co-operation.
