Yangpi Village Guard under Tuensang District, Noksen sub-division, celebrated its silver jubilee on Monday with Kejong Chang, Advisor, VG’s, G.B’s & DB’s affair and H. Chuba Chang M.L.A. as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.
Kejong Chang exhorted the village guards to work hard for maintaining peace and harmony not only in villages but the Naga society as a whole. The programme was attended by Y. Khumla A.D.C. Longkhim, N. Liang assistant commandant V.G, Hongkin, president C.C.S.U, Tali, president E.N.E.U.U, officials from Noksen, Tuensang and officials of Yangpi Village.
V.Gs’ from neighbouring villages, as well as Phom villages also attended the celebration.
