State Disaster Response Force 2nd batch trained to handle disaster

The 2nd batch of the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) from the Alpha Coy of 14th IRB completed their training on December 9 at CTI HG&CD, Toluvi, Purana Bazaar.

Altogether 100 jawans received ‘Completion Certificate’, while 4 jawans received ‘Attendance Certificate’.
The SDRF is a specialized force trained to handle any kind of disaster whether manmade or natural and the 3rd batch of the SDRF training would begin from February 2012.

Mention may be made that the SDRF is being drawn from the Alpha Coy of five IRs namely the 9th, 11th, 12th, 13th and 14th.
