Women forum of the network for Kiphire district people living with HIV and AIDS organised a nutrition programme at its KpNP+ Kiphire Town on January 17.
Athrongba, (Counselor ARTC Kiphire) exhorted the WLHIVs especially those on ART to maintain adherence for better health. He also spoke on positive living, CD4 count test, services available at ARTC and urged the members to invite others and also help them avail the services.
Khupai counselor DIC on behalf of the women forum KpNP+ expresses its gratefulness and acknowledgement to the directorate of women development, government of Nagaland for the nutrition support and NNP+ for the initiatives.
The programme was chaired by Roseline chairperson women forum KpNP+ and others who spoke at the programme were Erothe President KpNP+, Tia Counselor DIC and Lithsa Support Net Officer DPMU/PACT followed by nutrition distribution which included rice, ‘dal’ and ghee.
Youth rally held at Wozhuro
DIMAPUR: The three-day 17th youth rally of Kyong Baptist Ekhumkho Sanrhyutsu (KBES) held under the theme “Be a Proactive Youth”, concluded on 15 January, Wozhuro under Wokha district.
Speaking on the topic “Know Your Responsibility in Christ”, January at the devotional service, Dr. Eyingbeni, Lecturer, Clark Theological College, Aoligen urged the congregation to stay out of “anti-Christ” group and to strengthen their faith in God through prayer and meditation.
Rev. Kaifa, Director, Asian Evangelistic Fellowship, North East India, at the consecration service spoke on “Youth in Kingdom business,” said it was not necessary that a missionary or evangelist to obtain, B. Th, M. Th or MD and that anybody could be a missionary. The next KBES youth rally would be held at Ralan area in the year 2015.
