Administrative Training Institute (ATI) inaugurated an outdoor classroom called ‘Glass House’ on March 17 at ATI premises.
Constructed with the aim for an ideal natural class-room environment, the toughened glass-roof house was constructed by a team effort of ATI staff and officers including EAC (probationers).

Director of ATI, V. Shashank Shekhar, who inaugurated the glass house, commended the efforts of the officers and staff in constructing the glass house.

He said glass house would be an ideal outdoor class room where he quoted Tagore- “a child is in his natural setting amidst the flowers and the songbirds.

There he may more easily express the hidden wealth of his individual endowment. True education is not pumped or crammed in from outward source, but aids in bringing to the surface the infinite hoard of wisdom within. ”

The inauguration programme was chaired by Dr. Hovithal Sothu, associate professor, Disaster Management Cell while the dedication prayer was said by Chumben, EAC (P). The programme was attended by officers and staff of ATI.
