In support of ENPO declaration, the Konyak Union, Mon Thursday said the union, at an emergency meeting March 20, unanimously resolved to declare non cooperation to NSCN (K).
In a joint press statement, the KU president S. Khoiwang Konyak and joint secretary Y. Hosea Konyak said the union also resolved to observe “Black Day” March 30 within Mon district to mark those Konyaks killed in the recent factional clashes in Mon.
At the meeting, the signatories said the union further reaffirmed and adopted more resolutions in order to strengthen the Konayk union and to work against any evil forces that attempts to break “honesty and unity of the Konyaks” at any cost.
Meanwhile, the KU has directed all its units to strictly observe the back day and remain vigilant against all hostile activities.
It may be mentioned that Eastern Nagaland People’s Organisation (ENPO) had also recently resolved to declare “non-cooperation against NSCN (K).
