All Assam Students’ Association (ASSA) would facilitate 50 students for free study in technical and medication education to those belonging to the minority community i.e. Christian, Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsian and BPL.
According to a press release issued by the association’s president, M.R Choudhury, the free study would be in B. Tech, MBBS, BDS and BAMS courses in various government and semi government colleges under Andhra Pradesh government and also said the initiative was taken just to bring the development of technical and medical education in Northeast.
ASSA stated that students from Nagaland could avail the facility but the whole process would be on merit basis for which the association would conduct both registration and counseling from May 30 to June 8 and from June 11 to 17.

The release further said it has set up its regional office and many more branch offices in various parts of Assam including Guwahati at Door No.1, central guest house, Debdharu Path, Rajdhani Masjid, Dispur, Guwahati-06, or contact mobile numbers-08486062017 and 8876098503.
