Nagaland Law Students’ Federation (NLSF) basing on the federations’ annual calendar as the ‘Year of educational drive’ held its first legal awareness programme on June 15 at Mayangnokcha government higher secondary school, Mokokchung on the theme ‘knowledge for justice’.
The topics discussed at the programme were domestic violence against women, sanitation, juvenile justice act, consumer protection act, MGNREGS, child labour, right to education & right to information act 2005.
The seminar was attended by more than 500 students, school authority, lecturers, and representatives of NLSF. Further, NLSF has expressed gratitude to Mayang Lima, member secretary, Nagaland state legal services authority for providing materials, notepad and pens to the students and also to WSSO-PHED for providing banner for the sanitation campaign.
