District health society (DHA) conducted a reproductive and child health outreach camp at Tsurangkong PHC Mokokchung District on February 8.
A report from CMO office stated that the camp was led by Dr. R Chubala Aier CMO, Mokokchung where more than 121 patients availed free health check up, which included 5 ANCs, 17 lab ST and 10 CUT insertions, 35 dental patients examined out of which 15 dental extractions done.
Other activities such as free investigations on blood sugar, haemoglobin, malaria and distribution of free medicines were done. Health talks on importance of ANC, Family planning, immunization, NCD, breast feeding and distribution of leaflets were also carried out by the IEC team.
Team of doctors included DPO (RCH&UIP), gynaecologist, MOs and staff of Medical department were present during the health camp. Camp started with opening prayer by Watiyim pastor.
