Selected PT/GT-2012, Zunheboto district Tuesday informed that their Phase-I agitation, scheduled to begin September 18, has been temporarily suspended till further notice. In a statement, PT/GT-2012, Zunheboto convenor Inoka V. Zhimo co-convenor Hekuto Anche said agitation was suspended following request made by NSF and district administration, Zunheboto, and also in view of NSF’s initiative to break the appointment deadlock.
Urging the government to pursue for early solution to the issue, selected teachers cautioned they would be compelled to resume agitation if government delayed to resolve the issue and failed to release appointment orders.
All the selected teachers of Zunheboto district have been directed to refrain from participating in any form of protest so as to comply with its temporary suspension of agitation.
