A VIP suitcase left inside a shop near Razhü Point by unknown persons at 3 p.m. on October 10 and still unclaimed, created panic as it led to suspicions that it contained a bomb. The shopkeeper of the boutique disclosed that on request, he allowed one person on October 10 at around 3 p.m. to leave the suitcase inside the shop for five or ten minutes.
However, the person never returned. The shopkeeper then informed North Police station after which a Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) from IGP, Intelligent Branch arrived and conducted test with an explosive detector.
However, when no reading of any explosive was detected, the suitcase was opened in which three Naga daos, photograph, memento, whistle cord, books and clothes were found inside.
