Public of Suruhuto town and nearby villages were entertained on January 4 a band of 21 Assam Rifles, Zunheboto. In-spite of chill weather, the crowd turned up huge in number and enjoyed every moment of the show, where both old and new English/Hindi songs were belted out.
According to chairman LBSA Hotoshe Sema Awomi, the show was so lively that some of the youth and kids danced up to the stage and had to be dragged down.
The programme culminated with vote of thanks by Shivukhu Shikhu, Chairman, ATC, who appreciated the Friends of the Hills People for bringing a joy and peace in the minds of both old and young alike.
Public of Suruhuto area expressed gratitude to the commanding officer, 21 Assam Rifles, and Major Prashant for the event.
