Chief secretary, Government of Nagaland, Alemtemshi Jamir IAS inaugurated the Customary Court at Moya village on January 11 during the Yimchunger Akheru Arehako (YAA) Conference.
Jamir called upon the NGO leaders from the Yimchunger community to uplift their society and encouraged them to be progressive and dynamic leaders, which he felt was the need of the hour.
He also said that everyone should avail the opportunity and opined that one should no longer call oneself backward as everyone is equal.
Director, North East Council, Private Ltd., S. Battachary and ENSF President, Likhumse Sangtam also delivered short speeches during the function.
The chief secretary was accompanied by deputy commissioner Kiphire, Kesonyu Yhome IAS, ADC Pungro, Tainiu and other government officials.
