Confederation of Indian Industry (CII-FACE) in association with the Food Safety Security Authority of India (FSSAI) would organize a food safety and standards act workshop and licensing mela on January 28, 9 a.m. at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur.
The workshop would be conducted by the faulty of CII-FACE and would focus on overview of food safety and standards Act, 2006, as well as food safety and standards rules and regulation.
Later in the day, food safety authorities of the state government would receive on the spot applications and also conduct licensing and Registration for Food Business Operators (FBO).
It may be mentioned that all FBOs have to mandatorily obtain Food Safety Security Authority of India license in order conduct their business legally. Any FBOs interested in the workshop and licensing mela have been informed to contact CII office over mobile number-8974999763.
