Deputy commissioners & district election officers have been delegated under R.P. Act to act on behalf of the state government for requisitioning of vehicles, premises etc for the conduct of election to the twelfth Nagaland legislative assembly 2013.
A government notification stated that any vehicle, premises etc belonging to private person or institution/organization would be entitled for compensation under Sec. 161 of the R.P. Act of 1951, the notification added.
