An exhibition-cum-sales was sponsored by ATMA Phek on January 26 where four participating SHGs formed by the same exhibited and sold their produce.
The participating SHGs were Cekro SHG and Lurhu from Phek town and Lirhuwe and Rhazuwe from Losa-tephe village.
Commodities on exhibition and sale were Eri and handloom products such as mekhelas, shawls and waist coats, local banana chips, local rice roti/bread, oranges, dried gooseberry, dried soyabean, and puffed rice.
The occasion was marked by inauguration of ATMA stall put up by the four SHGs and release of technical folders of ATMA Phek by minister for planning and co-ordination, evaluation, V & AH and parliamentary affairs, T.R Zeliang.
Altogether, 11 technical folders in English and three technical folders in Kezha dialect were released.
The evening session was highlighted by distribution of farmer’s award comprising cash and certificate to the best female and male farmer for the year 2012, representing different enterprises and best organized group for the year 2012, representing different enterprises from five blocks.
A total of 15 awards were given away by the chief guest, Deepali Masirkar IPS, S.P Phek.
