Lalit Kala Akademi (LKA or National Academy of Arts), New Delhi has notified that nominations have been invited from bona fide artists registered with LKA for elections to its general council under various artists’ constituencies.
According to a statement issued by LKA secretary, the filing of nominations have already begun Monday and the last date of filing nominations would be Feb 7.
Last date of withdrawal would be Feb 11 and scrutiny of nominations on Feb 12. LKA said nominations could be filed with designated returning officer/ assistant returning officer of the respective constituency on all working days between 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in person with a copy to LKA secretary, New Delhi. List of returning officers, constituencies and forms are available with LKA’s website www.laitkala.gov.in.
